Therapeutic Massage for Pain Relief, Nervous System Reset and Deep Relaxation
More than a massage, this is a restorative experience created for those seeking long-lasting relief from pain and tension, an escape from stress, and the demands of everyday life. Release what no longer serves you.
Restore what matters most.
Live freely.

The principles of Lomi Lomi inspired my belief that healing begins when the body feels safe. The body often carries the effects of stress, overwhelm, grief, and life demands longer after the mind has moved on.
Our body holds the story of our lives.
That is why every session is customized to your unique needs. My goal is not simply to provide a massage, but to help your body feel safe enough to let go.
My mission is to provide a luxurious, restorative experience where you feel seen, supported, and cared for as a whole person.
My intention is for every client to leave feeling lighter, more comfortable in their body, and deeply restored, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
A luxury sanctuary where the body can soften, release, and restore.

At Release & Restore Bodywork, I offer luxurious, highly personalized sessions. Combine therapeutic massage, pain-relief techniques, nervous-system-focused bodywork, and individualized care to create sessions tailored to your unique needs. Whether you are dealing with chronic tension, recovering from physical strain, experiencing stress-related discomfort, or simply seeking a place to slow down and reset, my goal is to help you feel supported, restored, and more connected to your body.
Blending therapeutic expertise with restorative care, each session is thoughtfully curated to integrate nervous system-focused work, somatic release, deep-tissue techniques, myofascial release, assisted stretching, Swedish-inspired relaxation, and the flowing principles of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi.

Owner & Licensed Massage Therapist
Vanessa Franklin
MT #136095
With over 16 years in the wellness industry, I combine therapeutic bodywork with a holistic, deeply personalized, results-driven approach focused on pain relief, nervous system regulation, and the restoration of balance throughout the body.
Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked as a certified personal trainer, during which I developed a deep understanding of anatomy, movement patterns, posture, muscle function, and the interconnectedness of the human body.
Throughout my years in the wellness industry, I have had the privilege of working in luxury spa environments and alongside talented professionals. While those experiences shaped me as a therapist, they also revealed something that never sat quite right with me. Too often, clients were treated as appointments on a schedule rather than individuals with unique stories, needs, and goals.
I help create the conditions for the body to soften, unwind, and release what it no longer needs to hold
Treatments frequently followed a routine, and techniques such as deep tissue were applied simply because clients requested them, even when their bodies were already overwhelmed and in need of a gentler approach.
I witnessed many guests arrive carrying the weight of stress, exhaustion, and tension, only to leave feeling overstimulated rather than restored.
Effective bodywork is not about applying more pressure; it's about listening, understanding, and creating an environment where the body feels safe enough to let go.
That belief became the foundation of Release & Restore Bodywork. My dedication is not simply to provide a massage but to become a trusted partner in your wellness journey. I take the time to understand your lifestyle, stressors, movement patterns, and individual goals so that every session is tailored specifically to you.
I created Release & Restore Bodywork as a calm and welcoming space where healing begins with feeling safe, heard, and cared for. I am honored to serve the Allen community and look forward to being part of your wellness journey.

This personalized introductory session is the perfect way to experience a different approach to massage therapy, one that focuses not only on your muscles, but on your nervous system, stress levels, and overall well-being. Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic tension, daily stress, or simply need a moment to reset, this introductory experience offers a glimpse into the Release & Restore philosophy: healing begins when the body feels safe.

My journey into bodywork began long before I ever attended massage school.
Growing up, I watched both of my parents struggle with chronic back pain. I witnessed years of discomfort, doctor visits, and surgeries, hoping each procedure would finally bring them relief. Seeing people you love live with pain leaves an impression that never truly goes away.
As a teenager, I was highly active in track and field, developing a deep appreciation for movement, performance, and the human body's incredible resilience. Yet it wasn't until years later that I truly understood the profound impact therapeutic touch could have on someone's life.
My journey in the wellness industry began over 16 years ago with a passion for helping people move, feel, and live better. Before becoming a massage therapist, I also spent years as a certified personal trainer, during which I developed a deep understanding of anatomy, movement patterns, posture, muscle function, and the interconnectedness of the human body. That foundation continues to influence my work today. As a therapist, I don't simply focus on where pain is felt, I look at how the body functions as a whole. Often, discomfort in one area can be connected to movement habits, muscular imbalances, stress patterns, or compensations occurring elsewhere in the body. That passion for helping others improve their quality of life had always been a driving force for me, and this experience would ultimately deepen that calling in a way I never expected.
One day, after spending more than ten hours driving, I experienced a severe back spasm. The pain was so intense that I could barely get out of my car, walk, or handle daily activities. Desperate for relief, I scheduled a massage appointment. Before taking me into the treatment room, the therapist looked at me and said, "This isn't going to be pleasant, but I'm going to fix you."
She was right.
The session was detail-focused, therapeutic, but calming. When it was over, something remarkable happened. I stood up from the table, able to stand straight without pain, walked upright for the first time in days without pain, and immediately burst into tears. I wrapped my arms around her in a hug filled with gratitude and relief. In that moment, I experienced what it felt like to be truly helped and cared for.
I never forgot that day, or the therapist who made such a profound impact on my life. She showed me that healing is not just about techniques or muscles; it's about making a meaningful difference in another person's life.
That experience inspired me to become a massage therapist.
For the past 16 years, I have dedicated my career to helping people find relief from pain, reduce stress, restore movement, and reconnect with their bodies. Along the way, I often saw clients treated as appointments on a schedule rather than individuals with unique stories, needs, and goals. I knew there had to be a more personal approach.
Today, I still carry the memory of that therapist and the gift she gave me. Every session is guided by the belief that healing begins when people feel heard, cared for, and safe. My mission is simple: to create the kind of experience that changed my life and help others find the same sense of hope and relief.
Those are the words I hear most often after a session.
Over the years, I have seen how stress, grief, overwhelm, trauma, and the demands of everyday life often become held within the body. While emotions begin in the mind, they often manifest as muscular tension, restricted movement, altered breathing patterns, and nervous system dysregulation.
These experiences shaped my philosophy and ultimately inspired me to create Release & Restore Bodywork.
I believe healing begins when the body feels safe. Lasting relief comes from addressing the whole person, not just the symptoms.
So many of us spend our days pouring our energy into our families, our work, and the people we love, often leaving very little for ourselves. I know what it feels like to carry those responsibilities and keep pushing forward even when you're exhausted. That understanding is at the heart of how I care for my clients. When you walk through my door, I want you to feel seen, valued, and genuinely cared for. Your time, your well-being, and your goals matter deeply. My hope is that every session gives you a chance to exhale, let go of the weight you've been carrying, and experience the comfort, support, and healing you deserve.
Whether you are seeking relief from chronic pain, support during a stressful season of life, or simply a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself, I am honored to be part of your wellness journey.
Because every Body has a story, and every treatment should be as unique as the person receiving it.
I believe healing begins when the body feels safe. When stress, emotions, and life's demands are carried in the body, my role is to help you release what no longer serves you and restore a greater sense of ease, balance, and well-being.
